White With Two Sugars (please)

Coffee gives you
a legal shot of
energy when your
eyelids are feeling
down.
Coffee kills time
when you’re washed
ashore on the streets
of London.
(Coffee can even
help rainstorms
disappear.)
Coffee is something
to dangle your lips
in when conversation
is scarce.
Coffee is a good
place to take a
new friend.
(Coffee is an excuse
to stay half an hour
longer.)
Acquaintanceships end
on the doorstep but
friendships begin
with a coffee.
Coffee can be
appreciated by all
generations.
Coffee is multilingual,
multi-racial, liquid esperanto.
Yes.
There’s something quite
religious about coffee.

    Coffee gives you
    sleepless nights,
    shakes,
    and an irregular heart beat.
    Coffee gives you
    stained teeth,
    bad breath,
and a funny taste for people who kiss you!
    Coffee gives you
an excuse to go to BBÂ’s
    and spend money,
an excuse to go to CostaÂ’s
    and spend money
an excuse to go to Starbucks
    and spend more money.

    Water gives you
    detoxification,
    refreshment,
    relaxation.
    rehydration
    Water gives you
    No calories
    No fat grams
    No guilt
    Water gives you
    Water-cooler moments
    Ice in your drinks
    And fresh breathe!

    Water gives you

    You!

    You are 70% water!

    LetÂ’s hear it for water!

    Three cheers for dihydro-oxide

Adam, my hat comes off, very funny!!

If they could improve the flavour of water I am all in…

surely there is some natural ingredient that could be added to water … i don;t know some flaboured bean ro something … maybe even roasted - i love the whole roasting flavour - maybe some hot water would draw out those complex flavours [not boiling mind you...]

    now we’re talking…

  7. jo Says:

i am with you mark! maybe some colombian flavours !!

  8. adam Says:

“colombian flavours”… now Joanne, I thought you had promised to give that stuff up…
