Now rather strangely i put the content of this post in yesterday, and now it has all disappeared. Very strange, but here it is again:

Back on Friday 6th February I enjoyed making an igloo! Fancy that an igloo in england! here’s the picture:

There are 5 kids in there so it must have been quite large!

Surely the last bit of snow anywhere!

This is for those at the Christmas Dinner. Adrian mentioned about teh tradition of the Gavle goat in Gavle, Sweden. Since 1966 it has been the tradition to build a 5 metre high goat. and it has also been the tradition to try to burn it down, to the point point where they have webcam’s trained on it. You can read more about it here.

The question was whether it would it survive this year:

Well here it is! The new looks website. To be hojnest this has been sitting in the background for the last year, waiting for me to be bold enough to change over!

Another thing i mentioned on Sunday was Marks and Spencers have an ‘apple template’ that all apples they buy must match in order to be sold there. Others that don’t match are left to rot! No doubt there are similar things going on in other supermarkets and multiple products.

They are selecting those apples on the basis of what they think consumers want to buy [nice looking ones], but in the process informing the consumer what apples actually look like. We are so disconnected from the earth!!

Here’s the thing: Consumerism affects how we perceive reality.

The apple thing though is completely trivial though when compared to this:
